Do you offer financing?

What are your delivery timelines?

From the moment your project is signed, delivery timelines are generally between 5 and 9 months.

Do you convert different vehicle models?

Yes. Our conversions are currently built on Ram Promaster, Mercedes Sprinter, and Ford Transit chassis.

Are your conversions modular?

Depending on your needs and lifestyle, you can choose from several VanLife Campers layouts available on the following chassis:

Ram Promaster:

Mercedes Sprinter:

• APEX

Ford Transit:

In addition, each model includes access to a catalog of options, such as:

Do you accept trade-ins when purchasing a van?

Absolutely. We offer trade-in services and accept all types of vehicles.

What warranties are included with a VanLife Campers purchase?

Manufacturer warranty:

• Limited vehicle warranty: 3 years or 60,000 km
• Powertrain warranty: 5 years or 100,000 km

VanLife Campers warranty:

VanLife Fabrication offers a 5-year warranty on the entire conversion, limited exclusively to components manufactured by VanLife Campers as of the vehicle’s market release date. Accessories added to VanLife Campers chassis by external suppliers are covered by those suppliers’ own warranties.

Where can I visit your vans?

Less than 20 minutes from Montreal, our expert team welcomes you without appointment at 2716 rue Lapierre in LaSalle:

• Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Weekday evenings by appointment

We also organize and attend many events across Quebec to present our models and meet future vanlifers.

Can I try a van before buying?

Yes, we offer a rental service that allows you to try our vehicles before purchasing. If you decide to buy, the rental amount may be reimbursed under certain conditions.

Do you deliver across North America?

Yes. If you cannot pick up your van at our headquarters located at 4200 Saint-Patrick, Montréal, QC H4E 1A5, we can deliver it anywhere in North America.

How many vans do you build per year?

Since 2017, our team has built more than 150 VanLife Campers vans per year thanks to efficient production systems and optimized engineering processes.

Van features

Do your vans have a black water tank?

No. Our vans do not have black water tanks, which allows them to be used year-round. They are equipped with a grey water tank that can hold up to 65 L. We strongly encourage the use of biodegradable soaps and cleaning products at all times.

Do you use propane in your vehicles?

No. Our vans are powered by solar panels and lithium batteries. The Webasto heating system runs directly from the vehicle’s fuel tank.

How does the cassette / portable toilet work?

Installed in an easily accessible drawer (NOHR, MEA, RAVEN) or in the fixed interior shower (ELYA, LIV, APEX, FOX), the cassette toilet effectively contains odors.

It is made of two detachable compartments: the bowl and a holding tank. Once the tank is full, simply remove it and empty it into a standard toilet. This type of toilet is easy to use and ideal for our four-season vans.

It is also possible to replace the cassette / portable toilet with an optional Dry Flush toilet, a waterless and chemical-free system that seals waste in an airtight bag.

Are your vans 100% autonomous?

Yes. Our vans are equipped with Volthium lithium batteries that recharge in three ways:

• Vehicle alternator while driving
• Solar panel(s)
• External power connection

Are the vans designed for all seasons?

Absolutely. Our vans are designed to comfortably withstand temperatures down to -25°C thanks to:

• Cassette toilet
• No black water tank
• Gasoline-powered Webasto heating
• R10 wall insulation
• R5 floor insulation
• Full autonomy with solar panels and lithium batteries
• No propane
• Excellent ventilation
• Optional air conditioning

Can I use my interior shower in cold weather?

Yes. The Webasto heating system must remain on at all times to prevent the plumbing from freezing.

Do you offer AWD models?

Yes, APEX, FOX and RAVEN models are available in AWD.

What is the fuel consumption of a vehicle?

The RAM Promaster 3500 consumes approximately 14 L/100 km using regular fuel. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo 170 consumes approximately 12 L/100 km using diesel.

What voltage does the NovaKool refrigerator run on?

The refrigerator runs on a 12V power supply.

Do you offer extended van models?

Yes, we offer models ranging from 19.8 feet to 23 feet:

• Ram Promaster 2500 - WB 159: 19.8 feet
• Ram Promaster 3500 - 159 Extended: 21 feet
• Mercedes Sprinter 2500 - 170 Cargo: 23 feet

Is the storage space suitable for outdoor gear?

Yes. The garage space in our vans allows you to store outdoor gear such as bikes, skis, and much more. Additional options can also be installed for more comfort and practicality.

Customization and comfort

Do you offer different vehicle colors?

Yes, you can choose from several colors to personalize your van’s exterior according to your taste. Available options are listed on each model’s specification sheet.

Can you convert a van for more than 4 passengers?

Yes. Our MEA, ELYA, and RAVEN models are available in 5-passenger versions, making them ideal for families or groups.

What are the bed dimensions in your vans?

LIV, MEA, NOHR, and ELYA models are equipped with double beds. APEX, FOX and RAVEN models  include queen beds.

I already own a vehicle. Do you offer conversion support?

Yes. Our expert team can support you with:

• Full conversion: bring us your van and let us take care of the rest. You simply choose from our carefully designed models.
• Partial conversion: we can handle specific parts of the conversion, including insulation, window installation, bench installation, electrical systems, plumbing, and more.

Where can I park my van overnight?

VanLife Campers created VanLife Friendly, a membership platform offering access to many overnight parking spots and discounts at local businesses. The membership also includes access to Terego and many other benefits.

Buying a used model

What is the mileage on used vans?

Our used vehicles have less than 30,000 km when listed for sale, offering near-new condition and excellent performance.

Is there a warranty on used models?

Yes. All our used vans are still under warranty at the time of sale, and we also offer a warranty on our interior conversions.

Are used vans refurbished before sale?

Absolutely. We complete all necessary repairs and improvements to ensure the vehicle is in excellent condition.

When are used vans made available for sale?

Used vans are generally from our seasonal rental fleet (June to October). They are listed for sale during the summer and available for possession in the fall.

Can extras be added to a used van?

Yes. Accessories can be added depending on vehicle feasibility.
