Return and Exchange Policy
At VanLife Campers, we are committed to offering high-quality products and transparent service. Here is our policy regarding returns, exchanges, shipping, and warranties.
Shipping
Orders are processed within 1 to 5 business days. Delivery time then depends on our shipping providers.
Import Duties and Taxes
Orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes depending on U.S. customs classification. For reference, certain parts may be classified under HS code 8708.99 (parts and accessories of motor vehicles), which can be used as a guideline for your import-export procedures. Applicable fees are determined by the U.S. government and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Order Tracking
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your order is being processed.
- In-store pickup: You will receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up during our business hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday).
- Postal delivery: You will receive an email when your order is shipped, along with a tracking number to follow your package until it arrives.
To add an item to an order that has already been placed, please contact customer service at info@vanlifecampers.com.
Returns and Exchanges
Items in their original packaging, unopened and undamaged, with a receipt, can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Opened, damaged, or non-resalable items may not be eligible for a refund or exchange. A valid ID may be required.
Items Sold as Final:
Items sold as final sale cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or discounted. They are sold as-is, which may include minor imperfections or opened/missing packaging. Please carefully review the product description before purchasing to ensure it meets your expectations.
Clothing and Accessories Exchanges:
Clothing items are non-refundable. They can, however, be exchanged within 30 days if the following conditions are met:
- The item must never have been worn or washed.
- The item must be free of any damage.
To make an exchange, contact us at info@vanlifecampers.com and provide:
- Your order number
- Your full name
- The item to be returned and the reason for the exchange
Exceptions for Refunds:
- If the item is out of stock at the time of order processing.
- If the item has a manufacturing defect (photo required before return).
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. VanLife Campers will cover shipping costs for items with a verified manufacturing defect.
Sale Items: Sale items are considered final sale and are not exchangeable. No price adjustments will be offered for items purchased before the promotion period. Promotions cannot be combined.
Product Details
- Product colors may slightly vary depending on your screen resolution and brightness.
- All sizes are approximate; we do our best to provide accurate measurements.
- VanLife Campers is not responsible for display or publication errors on the website (prices, promotions, available quantities). Customers cannot use these errors to claim discounts or deductions.
Exceptions and Non-returnable Items
- Returns, exchanges, or warranties without a receipt may not be accepted.
- Defective items covered under the manufacturer’s warranty may be repaired or replaced (timeframes may vary).
- Automotive electronics (backup cameras, GPS, car stereos, etc.) can only be returned within 14 days of purchase.
- Pre-order products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except for defects reported within 14 days of purchase, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
- No shipping fees are refundable.
- Refunds or exchanges by mail require prior authorization, and shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- The Clothing and Accessories category is excluded from refunds.
- Non-refundable/non-exchangeable items: gift cards, custom or made-to-order items, cut or modified items, clearance or final sale items.
Where to Return or Exchange an Item?
Items purchased online can only be returned or exchanged at VanLife Campers office: 4200 Saint-Patrick, Montreal, within 30 days of purchase.
Warranty
Items sold by VanLife Campers are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We provide a one-year warranty on most items unless a specific warranty is indicated.
