It fits Thule WingBar Evo, AeroBlade, SquareBar and ProBar bars (an adapter is required for the Xsporter Pro). Compatibility is universal, so it mounts on your existing roof rack bars.
How many boards can it carry, and up to what weight?
It carries 1 to 2 surf or stand-up paddle boards from 70 to 86 cm wide, using the telescopic arms. Maximum load is 50 kg.
Can the boards be locked to the carrier?
No — this Thule 811000 model is not lockable. Boards are held by weather-resistant padded straps; check their tension before each trip.
